Data Release Advisory

For those interested in the NANOGrav 15-Year Data Sets, they will appear over the next few days on our Zenodo Community (found here). You can already find many of our software packages at our GitHub Organization (found here).


 

Publically Released Datasets

The NANOGrav 15-Year Data Set

This repository contains "narrowband" and "wideband" TOAs and timing solutions for the NANOGrav 15-Year Data Set, as described in Agazie et al. (2023, ApJL 951 L9).

Noise Spectra and Stochastic Background Sensitivity Curve for the NG15-year Dataset

This repository contains noise spectra for individual pulsars and stochastic gravitational wave background sensitivity curves for the NANOGrav 15-year data set analysis.

KDE Representations of the Gravitational Wave Background Free Spectra Present in the NANOGrav 15-Year Dataset

Probability densities from KDEs of the 15-Yr Dataset which can be used by the Ceffyl and PTArcade packages.

Continuous Wave Analysis of the NANOGrav 15-Year Dataset

This repository contains the data used in the analysis detailed within "The NANOGrav 15-year Data Set: Bayesian Limits on Gravitational Waves from Individual Supermassive Black Hole Binaries."

PSR J1713+0747 Shape Change Event

Contains minimally processed profile data in PSRFITS format, as well as pulsar ephemerides (.par files), time-of-arrival estimates (.tim files), and scripts which can be used to reproduce the figures and tables in Jennings et al (2022).

Polarization Calibration Data

Complete set of NANOGrav polarization profiles from the Arecibo Observatory, as featured in Wahl et al. (2021) and Gentile et al. (2018).

Data sets are available via a web-based database exploration tool or through the Globus data transfer system. 

In order to make our data sets as accessible as possible, we encourage users to make use of our access points on the Globus, a non-profit service for secure and reliable data transfer for scientific endeavors. You can read more about the service at their website.

Globus offers several different methods to access data hosted at various institutions, including an interactive web-based platform and a Python SDK wrapper.
